Charles Nicholson Gunn was born on 21 Jan 1879, the second surviving son of Thomas Gunn (1844-1910) and his wife Mary Morris (1846-1926). His mother and siblings Frank, Hilda, Eila and Winifred are all in the Family Album. Charles farmed at 'Strathlynn', Rosevears, and also worked at Allan Stewart's Stock Agency. Charles married his first wife Violet Whitpane at 'The Deanery', Launceston, on 7 Sep 1909. Their children were: Mary Nicholson, born 28 Jun 1910; John, 26 Sep 1914 and Sheila, 18 Nov 1916. Charles married a second time to Sybil Edith Youl on 22 Apr 1931 at Chalmers Church, Launceston. Charles died on 5 Jul 1941 aged 62 and was buried at the Carr Villa Cemetery in Section C9 No. 18.
