Mrs Frances Beatrice Irvine was the second of seven children of Henry Elms Lette MHA (1829-1892), farmer at 'Curramore', White Hills, and his wife Mary Elizabeth Landale Harrison. Frances married Richard Francis Irvine on 23 Nov 1875 in Launceston. They had three children: Richard, 1877-1919; May, 1878-1950 and John, 1879-1950 who are all in the Launceston Family Album. Frances danced in the vice-regal quadrille with Major George T Collins at the Masonic Ball held as part of the Exhibition on 9 Dec 1891. Frances was a widow when she died aged 65 on 9 Feb 1923 and was privately interred at Carr Villa in Section B6 No 72.
