Camilla Louisa Stephenson, known as Millie, was born in Victoria in 1871 to Rev. Francis Ewans Stephenson (1829-1885), a Wesleyan Minister, and his wife Louisa Ann Hobday (1838-1922). Millie was the fifth of eleven children. She became a nurse and by 1936 was retired and living at 341 Dandenong Road, Victoria, with her two youngest sisters, Jessie and Dorothy, a dressmaker. Millie died on 14 Jan 1942 at 23 Main Street, Blackburn, Victoria. She was privately interred.
