Ada Marian Windeatt was the only daughter of George Windeatt and his wife Mary Ann (Annie) Ferguson. She was born in Launceston, did not marry and died 15 Apr 1945. Ada assisted her mother in running a school in Frederick Street, Launceston, until Annie died in 1923, and then kept her own small private school behind her residence at 17 Elizabeth Street.
